Five years of photographing weddings—and recently getting married myself—has made me especially tender toward the nostalgia that undercurrents each celebration. I’m interested in the big picture: family lines and dusty frames hung in your living room fifty years from now. I keep things as simple as possible, and I welcome all messiness. It’s my quiet rebellion against the modern wedding script. Your job is to soak up the jubilee + weighty newness. My job is to give you a framed artifact to remember it by.
