In their Favorite Neighborhood

Maddie and Zach (AKA the sweetest couple ever) had a very specific location in mind when we started planning their engagement session: Suns Cinema. One of their favorite spots, in one of their favorite neighborhoods around DC. I was SO down.

We met for coffee at Elle (the miso caramel is the way to go, BTW) before strolling our way to Suns. Since they hadn’t had professional photos taken together before, some nerves were to be expected. But they absolutely KILLED it—and put up with all of my weird posing requests.

The pops of red throughout these images are the highlight for me, second only to the sweetness Maddie and Zach have for each other. DRUMROLL PLEASE…. here is Maddie and Zach ft. DC.
